Professional Experience

​

I am so excited to be teaching Pre-K at Union Park!  This is my eighth year of teaching, and my first in Denton ISD. I graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies.  In the past I have taught full day Pre-K, kindergarten, first and third grade.  Pre-K is my absolute favorite!

Social emotional learning is my biggest passion in education.  My goal as an educator is to help raise an entire generation of kind, compassionate, empathetic, resilient people who always strive to be the best version of themselves.

About Me

When I am not teaching, I love spending time with my friends and family, finding a new coffee shop, spending time in nature, going swing dancing, and trying new things.  I'm always up for an adventure, especially if it starts with a good cup of coffee!  My little sister teaches kindergarten in Austin. My students affectionately call her Little Bridges.

I am a very proud pet parent of two cats, Brené Grace and Sushi, and a bearded dragon, Stuart Elizabeth. Stuart is also our class pet!
